Let’s review!

Good morning everyone! I would like to say thanks once again for supporting me on Firehouse.com. Last night here in the county we had a good reminder of how dangerous our job’s can be. I am not sure on the exact details but a KCEAA ambulance was involved in a accident responding to a 911 call. First, I hope everyone is OK, and second I hope everyone was wearing their seat belt. From the news report I gathered that the ambulance was going to pass the SUV on the left on a double yellow line and it swerved over in front of it. The most important thing for us to remember is that people do the craziest things when they see us behind them. So expect the unexpected and always prepare for their response. Maybe we should post “Move Right with Light’s” backwards on the hood of our ambulance’s. Take care everyone and keep the four way’s flashin!
